The barrel of a rare GS160 has been bored to accept a piston from 180SS. The two main ports have been opened at the base of the barrel.
Two boost ports are machined above the inlet port. These improve lubrification and also sligthly increase power. the the boost ports are made to go either side of the inlet port. these ports will be fed through two small windows in the piston.
The conrod has been given a slot to improve lubrification.
The piston now has four more windows. Two small ones are opened on top and two are opend at the bottom of each side. the skirt on the inlet area has been rised.
The head has been modified to work with the larger bore and the angle of its squish band has been optimized.
